CHEMICAL PEEL

What is a chemical peel?
It’s a facial treatment used to regenerate and renew the skin through the application of exfoliating agents.

How does it work?
Through the application of chemical substances, inducing skin renewal. The skin will shed, effectively peel off, in the days after. The result is a more luminous, uniform, firmer and more elastic, new skin.

How is it applied?
10-15 days before application, patients are required to do some pre-peel preparations at home.
On the day the treatment is applied, degreasing is done first, then a specific acid is used, based on the patient’s pathology and phototype, then neutralizing, if the case requires it and finally a retinoic acid-based solution is applied.
During posterior days and at home, some post-peel preparations are recommended.

Indications
Fine to medium lines.
Open pores.
Liver spots.
Aged skin.
Acne and acne scars.

Number of sessions
For this treatment, the number of sessions will depend on the patient’s skin type and the chemical peel used.
